As a toddler, Craig could play songs by ear, which prompted some fun neighborhood parties. After the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan show, he formed a teenage garage band that ultimately played over 1000 gigs over the next four decades. Many of his gigs were wedding receptions where he met the bride and groom in advance to help them plan their debut as a married couple. Over the years he became an expert at predicting who would have successful marriages and who would not.
He didn’t end up pursuing a career in music, but instead became a business executive who traveled millions of miles, creating opportunities for his employers in 67 countries. His music certainly helped to form some valuable, sustainable relationships that still thrive today. As he connected with hundreds of business colleagues, customers and suppliers, it became very apparent to him who was passionate about their work and why they were likely to succeed.
One serendipitous connection opened a new door for him—his acquisition of a recruiting firm that today has successfully helped more than 13,000 people connect with new opportunities. Since 1999 Craig has interviewed countless candidates, discussed their careers, witnessed who became successful and learned why.
Throughout his entire life, he’s been passionate about almost anything that he does, as his mantra is “living life in crescendo.” Through his personal journey in finding the love and partner of his life, Melissa, he realized that almost everyone he met had different paradigms about dating than he did. Melissa, an accomplished writer and publisher, introduced him to writing and one thing led to another. Applying the things that he cared most about—making great connections, mentoring and inspiring others—he developed a new methodology for two people to go out together. Dating for Life separates dating from romance, and suddenly dating becomes simpler, more meaningful and enjoyable, and most of all…more successful!
